Incorporating NZ Football TDP (Talent Development Programme)

The TDP builds on the Development Programme and caters for players (boys and girls) aged 13-17 years old as they move on to full pitch eleven a side football.

This is designed to prepare players for competitive youth football and ultimately developing players for the key Under 17 and Under 23 age grade sides which are the primary 'feeder' grades for senior football in New Zealand.

Under this umbrella is our TDP (NZF Talent Development Programme) which is run by Roy Dsouza our Director of Football and his team.  The teams play in the highest leagues for their age groups namely NRFL Youth Leagues, NRF Championship Leagues and the Conference leagues.

Team Selection:

The Director of Football in conjunction with other Academy Coaches will select the TDP Squads. From the squads teams will get chosen each week to play in the NRFL, Championship or Conference teams. Team selections will take into consideration training and games both during open trials and during the Fencibles Summer Academy Programme. Thesr squads are usually announced during late February or during March depending on age group. The squads usually consist of 42-45 players in each age group. Trial Dates will be uploaded on our Home page.
