Summer Academy @ Fencibles| 2024 Term 4 & 2025 Term 1

This years academy enrolments are now open

_{The Academy is a stepping stone into the Fencibles players pathway for the 2025 season. The Academy targets players in the Skill Acquisition Phase (U9 to U17 Grade +) and looks to build on their key skills and confidence in players ability to take the next step in their football journey.} 

This year we are also bringing in experts to deliver specific athlete sessions so that our players learn the value of football holistics - these experts will deliver Strength and Conditioning, Dietary requirements, Speed & Mindfulness delivered by our qualified coaches.

The Academy is open to all players who have a desire to advance their footballing skills and each player will get 3 on field sessions each week, delivered over a 12 week period (with a break between term 4 2024 and Term 1 2025). Players should expect to learn, be challenged and have a lot of fun. 

This is a unique opportunity for players to get a taste of the 'Fencies Way’ and gain exposure to a proven way of football development they may not have experienced previously. This Academy is open to all members and non members of Fencibles, just click on the Sign-Up Now buttton

The Academy is a crucial platform for our players wanting to maximise their footballing goals & aspirations.

Mini Academy- 6th Grade - 8th Grade- 1 or 2 night per week (Tuesday and Friday or just Friday).

Junior Academy- 9/10th Grade- 2 night (you can pick which 2 days from the 3 day per week offer) Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)) or all 3 night.

Full Junior & Youth Academy- 9th - 17th Grade- 3 nights per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).

_{Key Elements of The Academy @ Fencibles Summer Academy}

• Junior and youth Academy- 3x contacts per week (the price is based on 2 session a week, with a bounce 3rd session).
• Mini Academy- up to 2 contacts per week.
• 12-18 Player to coach ratio (depending on the age).
• Delivered by qualified specialists with experience in High Performance environments.
• Player workshops
• Intro to video analysis
• Strength and conditioning (age specific) 
• Finishing techniques

Programme Details

This is a 12 week programme, beginning in term 4, on Tuesday 29^th October and run until Friday 13^th December then break over Christmas then start back on Tuesday 4^th Feb - 7^th March 2024

The training sessions will be on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday evenings at William Green Domain (possible Riverhills for some NRFL groups) 

Fee options (including a free Training shirt)

• Full Academy- Term 4 & Term 1 (12 weeks) U9 Grade - U17 Grade- $290.00
• Mini Academy (6^th / 7^th / 8^th Grade)- from $120.00- 220.00
• Term 4 only Academy- U9 - U17 Grade- $190.00
• Goalkeeper academy - (1 session per week) - $120.00

Days & Times

Tuesday, Thursday & Friday- 3x sessions per week, thats less than $8.10 per session.

The Grades are based on the 2024 season ages.

• 4.30pm- U6/U7 & U9 - U12 Grade and U10 and U12 Girls
• 4.30pm- Goalkeepers training - U10, U11 and U12 Grade (Tues or Thurs)

•  5.45pm- U8 Grade Boys and Girls
•  5.45pm-(Navy/Red/White U12 ^{(We will manually move players)}, U13, U14, U15  & U17s Boys & U14/U16 Girls 
• 5.45pm- Goalkeepers training- U13, U14 and U17s Boys and Girls (Tues or Thurs)

• 7.00pm- 'Selected' U15s & U17s & U23s & U18 Youth Girls National League Squad- and are Invite Only.

The system will book you into you correct age group and we will update this after for anyone moving a session.

The free Academy training shirt can be collected at the first session.

All players registered for the Academy are required to wear the academy training shirt for all sessions. 

One training shirt is included in the registration fee, and additional gear is available for purchase.

Need an extra training shirts can be purchased for $40.00 at the shop at William Green (club rooms)
