Senior Enrolments are open for the 2024 Winter Season

The 2024 season typically starts the last Saturday in April, or first one in May, we will keep you posted once we know the dates.

Fencibles currently has Mens teams in the following NRF divisions:

  • Divisions 1 to 8 (6 teams)
  • Over 35’s
  • Over 40 and Over 45 teams (7 teams)
  • There are also U19 teams for younger players. Click HERE for more information.

We welcome any new teams to Fencibles and will look to facilitate an appropriate entry level for your team with NRF where possible.

  • For individual players there is an informal process which aims to match skills and social objectives to teams. Please register on the Club website (no need to pay until you have been allocated a team) and a Club representative will be in touch to advise on the process as we head into March when teams start to look to get back to training and forming squads.
  • If we can find sufficient players, we will support entering new teams.

Riverhills Park is our centre of operations with 3 full sized fields, including a brand new state of the art astro turf pitch, which is floodlit. We play some Friday night games on William Green Domain under floodlights, as well as games there on a Saturday. The Club also has other facilities like Greenmount and Millhouse Reserve, should we need to use other pitches.

Riverhills & William Green clubrooms provide a quality post-game environment, where food & drinks, and plenty of banter, are available.

Most Senior Social Teams train on a Wednesday evenings from 7pm & 8pm, at William Green Domain on the turf with lights available until 10pm. The mood is friendly and inclusive, some teams fit a social game into their training schedule. Please note that you must wear the appropriate footwear when entering the turf, not slides or trainers, you must have your moulded football boots on. This is a requirement of the Club to keep the turf in as best condition as possible for longer.

Please note that all players will be required to pay their fees in full prior to the start of the season. Fees can be paid off over a number of weeks once you have registered. All you need to do is to login to your membership on the website and make a payment through the website. The Club are no longer able to support Senior players paying fees after the start of the season, due to the huge administrative burden involved in constantly chasing people up. If your fees are not paid then you will not be able to play.

Team Kit

All players will be provided with a playing top, you just need to provide your own socks, shorts (shinpads and boots).

Socks and shorts are available via Ultra Football. Please click HERE, to access the club page.

The Club provide each team with training and match balls + ball bag for the season, as well as a full set of players shirts & bag, bibs and cones, as required.
