Junior Information for kids born in 2018 or 2019

Season dates: End of April (term 2 until the end of term 3)

Game Season Information- Saturday Mornings Only
Grading is based on players age during the calendar year 1st January to 31 December.
Girls may play one grade down if they wish to.

5/6th Grade Uniform Information

This season we have managed to offer a cheaper option of a playing strip for the 5 & 6th grade only.

The playing top be purchased during your registration for $25. The shorts and socks still need to be purchased via Ultra- Click HERE for more info.

Mixed Meadowland teams

We will be allocating all Meadowlands teams after registrations close. The registrations close at the end of term 1. After the this date all registrations will be moved onto a waiting list and added in if space is available, please note: late registrations may not be put into teams with their friends.

All games are at Meadowlands Reserve, on Meadowlands Drive, Somerville (behind the squash/tennis centre).

Season information (term 2 & term 3)

5th and 6th grade teams at Meadowlands (Kids Born 2018/19)- (8.30am - 9.45am)

We will be allocating all Meadowlands teams after registrations close. After the registrations have closed we will be working on a waiting list and added in if space is available, late registrations may not be put into teams with their friends.

The 5th grade and 5/6th Grade Girls teams:

1. Each team will be put into groups of 7 boys born in 2019.
2. Each team needs 1 coach per team, (ideally more to cover sickness)
3. Each team will have a 30-35min training session, and game times as specified by the teams coaches AFF Framework and the same level of enjoyment.
4. Each team will then play a game  (4 players v 4 players with subs) and play 3 x 10min games on 1/2 a field. 

The 6th grade:

1. Each team will be put into groups of 12/13 boys born in 2018.
2. Each team has 2 coaches (1 coach per 5/6 players) (ideally more to cover sickness).
3. Each team will have a 30-35min training session, and game times as specified by the AFF Framework and the same level of enjoyment.
4. Each team will then split into 2 teams (6/7 players) and play 2 x 15-17min games on 1/2 a field of 4v4.

All games are at Meadowlands Reserve, on Meadowlands Drive. (Behind the squash/tennis courts).

Term 2 & 3

5th and 6th grade midweek Training (Kids Born 2018/19)

This year we have reduced the fees and are offering half price Grassroots training for 8 weeks during Term 2 and 8 weeks during Term 3. This offer is open to everyone who has signed up for our Saturday training & games at the cost.

Term 4 

During Term 4, we will run a summer soccer league. You can either register a team or sign-up as an individual.
