Fencibles Becomes An Accredited NZF Talent Development Provider

We are very excited to announce that after achieving accreditation for the New Zealand Football Skills Centre Programme in 2021, Fencibles have now been accredited the New Zealand Football Talent Development Programme (TDP). This has been 18 months of hard work by our coaching teams and means we are now fully accredited with NZ Football for all our development programmes for ages 8-17 year olds.

We would like to thank the support of Hannah Kraakman from Northern Region Football and NZF in helping us achieve this high standard and we now join an elite group of only 7 other clubs in Auckland that have achieved their TDP.

This is a huge moment for our club that everyone should be very proud of !!

Fencibles Technical Director Darren Bazeley, Director of Football Marty Rodwell and Football Programmes Manager Mike Hawkey have driven this initiative and it now gives us automatic entry into the elite youth grade NRFL competitions ages U13, U14, U15 and U17.

Automatic entry into the top NRFL age group leagues now eliminates the need for our teams to go through the tricky preseason one off grading games and now with 7 other strong clubs already guaranteed entry it will make the competition at this elite level alot stronger in 2022.

Other NRF Clubs accredited in NZF Talent Development Programme for 2022 are:

• Auckland City, Auckland United, East Coast Bays, Eastern Suburbs, Fencibles AFC, Northern Rovers, Northland FC, Western Springs.
