REP TEAM TRIALS / ALL GIRLS TEAMS ALLOCATIONS
Girls only Trials/Teams
Sunday 19th Feb 10:30am & Friday 24th Feb 5.30pm
7th, 8th & 9th grade girls (for girls born in 2008, 2009 & 2010)
Please note there has be a change to the dates due to a field clash with the Women's First Team. Both girls trials are at William Green pitch 5 next to the park
Depending on the numbers of girls who turn up, we will look at the number of Rep teams / all girls teams or distribute the girls evenly into teams/grade. Please do not attend if you wish to play in a mixed team.
Please be there 15 minutes before your start time to register and warm up. As you can see several of the trials are back to back so we need to be fair to everyone in each grade and keep to time. Please bring enough water for a full hour of game time.
At this stage we are looking to start the season on the last Saturday of the Easter school holidays. This will allow extra practice time and allow the season to run longer.
After the rep trials have finished, we will start allocation children to teams (we will do our best to keep kids together from last year) then asssign a coach to the team. They will then make contact with the team. The expectation are for the teams to have training session before the season and wen possible throughout the season.
As noted in various correspondence over the past 12 month, this season (2017) the club requires ALL players/teams to be in the new official Fencibles/Nike Kit,this includes top, shorts and Sock. No Club tops will be provided this year.To place your order for this season, go to www.kitman.co.nz, click on 'Clubs', then 'Fencibles' and enter FEN16 to access the club page.
The top is the one with the red centre panel with navy panels down the side, the shorts and socks are the navy one.
We will also be having a uniform weekend so if you are unsure about the size, please come to thes session (dates and times will be announced shortly).
We are strongly encouraging anyone who is coaching a junior team to attend this course.
This course will be run by Auckland Football on the 18th March 2017 at River Hills from 9am - 4:30pm.
The course will be paid for by Fencibles, and this includes snacks and lunch.
On completion of the course all attendees will receive a CD with junior activities, downloadable additional junior activities and resources and a certificates.
This is available to all coaches and assistant coaches, please mark this date in your diary if you are planning to coach this year and I will be sending more information out soon.
